Located in Utah County, Save a Dog and Kids, Inc. is a
non-profit  organization devoted to saving the thousands 
of dogs that  needlessly die in our shelters every year; and 
we realize that  our children must learn the value of life - for
every life is precious.   In a way, every time we save a dog 
we're saving a bit of ourselves  as well.  Could you ask for 
a better legacy to pass on to our  children - respect for the 
life on this planet entrusted to our care?

What our kids program is all about

Dogs and kids ... a perfect match!  Through our fostering and puppy training programs kids learn how to care for and train dogs.  
In the process they develop responsibility 
and appreciation for other living things.  
Our hope is to contribute to a population of compassionate and caring future adults.



 

Save a Dog and Kids, Inc. is a non-profit organization.  We depend solely upon
adoption fees and the generous donations of those who believe in our work.  
It's an uphill battle.  There are always more dogs to save and not enough time, money or manpower to do it with. Any help that you can give is so appreciated!

The Utah County Animal Shelter 
is now open every Saturday 
from 8 am - noon.
Despite all concerned efforts, 
they are still euthanizing up to 
24 puppies and dogs per day!!!
